Colour Fun 18/9/13

Hi all! 

Just having a fiddle with ye ol' Photoshop. 

I thought it would be good to try new things! (Or old methods with new lines).

It's an interesting result, still something to be worked on, built on and eventually mastered, but I'm rather happy with this image, even if it was a play around.

Sketchy Tuesday 17/9/13

Hello blog dwellers!

Here are a few sketches I got to on the bus to class today.

I played around with just form and quick sketching, looking at people that were driven past.

I love the 'quick' feeling to the images, as there wasn't much time to draw and capture the person.

Afternoon!

So an image that was going to just be a sketch, turned out to be something pretty fun and awesome!

This pretty much describes my mindset on coffee and during a mild case of 'lots of work to do, but too much buzzing!'. I really had fun with this one!

Line Fun, Tuesday 17/9/13

Hello blog dwellers!

Just having some fun with some line drawing, just to pass some time. I sort of started with the face, but didn't feel like continuing it, so I took that mentality in my stride, and turned it into a concerned, yet loving ghost. Perhaps I'll create a story line around him...Happy Tuesday to you!

Pen Sketches Monday 16/9/13

Hello late night dwellers! 

Here are a few sketches I've played around with/ done in pen. I love using pen as a medium for its boldness, but I am better with pencil (but will always revert back to pen). I'm not sure why I have favoured it so, but alas I find I'm more creative with a pen in hand than a pencil...for now at least.

Green Eyed

Heyyo!

 Just having some fun with some simple line work and eyes. I'm looking into aesthetic imagery, and procrastinating, so potentially a win/ lose... but oh well!

Love Catch Me

Hello! 

So I played around with a simple drawing in the morning, then thought "hey, lets add a random quote to that" and ended up with this. Love the colours! I do realise that I got the song quote wrong though, it's meant to be "Dream catch me when I fall, or else I won't come back at all" (Newton Faulkner, lyrical genius). Oh well! I had some fun getting this one done, although there can be a lot to improve, I still love it.

Sketchy Monday 16/9/13

Hello blog dwellers! 

Here are a few sketches that I got in today on the bus. I do love working with pencil, and I'm hoping to stretch my ability further with the way I do create my lines and style. I have a few ideas on how, and I hope to implement them soon...or at least play around with them. I still have a lot to grow in, especially with proportions, but loving it non the less!
